Now, aiming at new chemistry for the ideal future of human medicine,
Teijin has joined the Japanese regenerative medicine pioneer J-Tec to start a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) focused on regenerative medicine such as gene and cell therapies.
We have named that company Teijin Regenet.

This name presents us as a CDMO for regenerative medicine businesses, one that will serve as a hub for social implementation by forming networks with various companies and organizations to forge a new era of medicine.

Regenerative medicine has the potential to realize things previously thought impossible, positively changing our future, our society, and the potential of all people.

However, there remain many significant barriers to making regenerative medicine an accessible practice.

As a CDMO for regenerative medicine, Teijin Regenet will speedily realize the potential of regenerative medicine through active partnerships for co-creation with academia, hospitals, start-ups, and others.
The contract development organization (CDO) functions of Teijin Regenet will be based at the Kashiwa-no-ha Life Science Frontier.

By forming partnerships with academia and hospitals, we will aim for the speedy realization of regenerative medicine, drawing on reproducibility, processes, and stories.
We will also handle the various regulations and pharmaceutical matters that have become major hurdles to the development of regenerative medicine in Japan and overseas.

Teijin Regenet’s contract manufacturing organization (CMO) functions will be based at Teijin’s Iwakuni plant.
We will be responsible for safe, secure, and consistent contract manufacturing based on the strict quality control methods we have cultivated in the medical field.

Teijin Regenet is committed to promoting the widespread use of regenerative medicine to provide treatments previously considered impossible to people worldwide as quickly and consistently as possible.
